Sunday Nursery
Nursery care is available from 8:15 until the end of the second service on Sundays for children aged 6 months through kindergarten. The nursery is located on the lower level next to the kitchen, in the education wing of the building. This location is easily found by descending via the elevator in the Great Room or from the main staircase.
Sherrie Campbell is always present to give the children a sense of consistent care and attention. Adult and young-adult volunteers assist Sherrie. The children play, have snack, pray, and learn to share. It is customary in our congregation to retrieve the children from the nursery just prior to the MEAL, bringing them to the altar to receive a blessing or to commune.
The first Sunday of each month, when the Sunday School Children attend the 10:45 service, the nursery-aged children also attend Church with their parents until after the children’s sermon. Children are always welcome in Church, and we encourage use of the nursery for the freedom it provides busy parents to engage in a peaceful worship service.
