Since its founding in 1902, St. Paul’s has been an anchor for the community of Glenside and the surrounding area northeast and northwest of Philadelphia. With its proximity to the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Mount Airy, a large population of German Lutheran immigrants, and easy access by car and public transportation, the congregation has grown from 13 founding members to almost a thousand members in the past century.
Today, St. Paul’s serves its mission, “The Power of God, Changing Lives,” by providing a contemplative and meaningful worship experience and by welcoming all who seek Christ.
