St. Paul's Nursery School offers classes, after-school, and lunch bunch for 2-yr-olds, 3-yr-olds, 4-yr-olds, and pre-K. The nursery school regular day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.Students experience monthly music classes & gym classes, and a chapel experience with Pastor Sonntag. Daily experiences may include, but are not limited to: morning greeting/circle time, free play, arts & crafts, gross motor time outside or in our large Fellowship Hall, snack, and age appropriate, educational enrichment opportunities. Each year St. Paul's invites special outside programs into work with the students. This years highlights: Briar Bush Native American Program and their Critters to Kids Program, a Whale Watch Program, and a St. Patrick's Day Storyteller. Of course, each year there are many opportunities for celebrations within the class room with birthdays, special events, and holidays.
St. Paul's offers after-school care from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. for those kids who attend St. Luke's R.C. School. Students are offered time to play outside or down in our large Fellowship Hall, homework time, and free play time. We invite all St. Paul's Nursery School students and their families to worship with us on Sunday mornings during our regular worship times at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. It is not too late to join our Sunday School Classes, which meet at 9:15 a.m. For more Sunday School information, contact jenniemyers@stpaulsglenside.org.
Do your children like to sing? For 4 year olds through 1st graders, have them join our Chrub choir under the direction of Music Director, Rae Ann Anderson Thursday afternoons from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. For 2nd grades through 6th grades, join Mrs. Anderson Thursdays from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. The kids have a lot of fun, sing the first Sunday of the month at the 10:30 service, and learn great choral music skills.
